  • Laura Calabrese

    Instructor

I first discovered Pilates after having my third son in four and a half years. I was discouraged that I was never going to get back in shape, let alone ever feel that I had a single muscle in my core! Pilates changed all of that for me. It has changed my body, my mind, and my entire regard to health and fitness. I had finally discovered a form of exercise that I loved and was excited to do every day if I could. In a short amount of time of personally practicing Pilates I knew I wanted to train and become certified to teach and help others so they too could learn and experience the benefits of doing Pilates. I have had the pleasure of working with people of all ages, healthy, injured, recovering, and born with lifetime limitations. The gratification it has given me to help so many people in various ways by teaching and training them in Pilates is enormous. It truly is an art and one that is so easy to fall in love with. Laura completed her 500 hour training with Troy McCarty, who personally trained under original students of Joe Pilates. Her training is through Balanced Body University and she has been teaching for over 10 years in the Chagrin Falls area.

  • Rachel Tramonte

    Pilates Instructor

My passion for movement began in my mid-twenties when I spent all of my free time cycling and lifting weights. By my mid-thirties I realized that I needed a more holistic approach to wellness. I took my first reformer Pilates class in 2010 while I was trying to get back in shape after my second pregnancy. I have been hooked on reformer Pilates ever since. I love teaching both group classes and private sessions. It is a privilege to help people develop and explore their own Pilates practice, witnessing shifts in awareness, and the deepening of the mind-body connection.

  • Abby Gretter

    Pilates Instructor

Abby found a love for Pilates movement after her collegiate cheerleading days and passion for remaining active as a postpartum mother found her with aching knees and chronic back issues. Following her first Pilates class, Abby became enamored with the flow, challenge and restorative body results of the Pilates method. Her renewed athletic health inspired her decision to complete the 450-hour comprehensive Teacher Training program through Pilates Core Integration in 2015. Today, Abby's Pilates clients love her ability to coach connected, mindful classical body movements while anticipating her infusion of challenging flow sequences. Her excitement to share Pilates can best be experienced through her hands on corrections, intentional cuing and her infectious (and sometimes evil) laugh.

  • Mel Bogo

    Instructor

In 2015, after 15 years of Hospital shifts, Mel transitioned from helping patients with their healthcare needs to aiding clients with their fitness goals. Committed to finding the Mind Body connection, Mel has completed over 500 hours of Pilates training to become a Certified Pilates Instructor. She has taken what she has learned through her Pilates practice and applied it to her other certifications to enhance the class experience. Mel is a certified spin instructor through Schwinn Cycle, Level 2 qualified TRX Instructor and recently expanded as a certified Barre Instructor through Barre Above. When she is not teaching Pilates, Barre or Cycling classes, she is sharing the benefits of staying active, positive and being the best version of "you" that you can be. Mel affirms self care is self love and the wise words that follow; “Every moment of our life can be the beginning of great things." - Joseph Pilates

  • Yvonne Shvartshteyn

    Instructor

“I first experienced Pilates a little over six years ago. Pilates has changed my life! Working as a stylist over the past 17 years has really put a strain on my lower back and body. Pilates has strengthened my core and lower back. It has taught me body awareness, helped with my posture and all over form, making my work days less painful. Pilates has taught me to love and appreciate my body. This is something I have struggled with for many years. Until I started doing Pilates, I didn’t fully understand how the body worked. The body is a unit, it’s not about your shape or your size, it’s about the mind and the energy that you put into making a transformation. This year I have had the opportunity to learn so much in the teacher training program through Club Pilates! It has been an amazing experience. As an instructor, I am looking forward to providing clients with knowledge, positive energy, and help them change their lives! I understand the mental and emotional challenges a person can go through with body issues. The pure joy in helping others overcome their obstacles while reaching their goals of building a stronger body and mind will be immeasurable!”
